Laser welding is a high concentration of light and heat in a small (0.2 ~ 2.0mm) inside the spot, in an instant (0.5 to 20 ms) within the molten base metal wire and die. After cooling the melt, if the welding part of the base metal microstructure consistent with the mold, you can ensure welding quality; and if not, it may appear trachoma, cracks, or adhesive is not strong and fall off and so on.
Choice affect the welding quality welding consumables:
1, if you choose the same with the mold base material when the laser Welding Wire with a metal bar, metal microstructure after melt with the mold base material will be inconsistent, from the impact of welding quality.
2, if you choose stainless steel wire, or close to the laser welding of stainless steel material used, the same problems could occur, and can not guarantee that the hardness after welding. Because less carbon stainless steel, hardness is low, after the welding position welding easy to wear.
3, the wire for different mold materials, there are different models. However, unlike argon laser welding, laser welding is a high concentration of light and heat welding, wire models for the choice of not very strict, as long as welding followed by melting the base metal hardness access is good and consistent, you can achieve a good weld quality.
Wire to save:
As the laser Flux Cored Welding Wire is alloy, not steel wire, there will likely save a bad rust. Some laser welding on the surface coated with a thin layer of rust-proof material, but not too thick coating of rust layer, or will affect the welding quality, because this rust layer is equivalent to impurities in the welding process. In particular, the mirror mold welding wire, even if it is anti-rust coating layer.
Wire to use sealed bags, putting moisture beads, stored in a dry environment. If on long-term air-conditioned environment, save the six months to a year will not rust.
If the wire rust, surface rust with sandpaper to fight to the light, you can use without affecting the welding quality.
